Typographic Poster Design.
The performance showcased musicians creating unique sounds with enlarged instruments. I found images in Adobe Photostock, altered their colors to red and blue, and combined them in Photoshop. I added a light-opacity, black rectangle to enhance depth. The final draft will address typographic layout issues.
First draft.
For this project, I needed to design a typographic event poster conveying a message about the performance and performers. The included information was required and so the challenge for me was to find a way to convey that message while keeping the poster from feeling cluttered.
Sketches.
For the final draft, I made slight image alterations, reorganized performer names, adjusted opacity, scaled down text, and improved bottom-line formatting for better readability and grouping.
