I believe that effective photography for social media uses the elements of storytelling while creating brand recognition through composition and design choices. Creating an aesthetic is step number one.

If we take the time to breathe and notice the mundane details around us, we can better appreciate the fact that many of them, depending on our viewpoint, are quite beautiful.

Connecting to nature is important to me and this series of photos, from the grand to the small and close-up, help to not only show my control of composition and lighting but my interests as well.

I love pets, especially mine! They’re a wonderful and fun subject for capturing movement, light direction, and expression whether that’s in black and white or in color, inside or out.
