Our environment is important and as a designer I advocate for sustainable design choices from the ink used to the material. For this project, I re-designed an existing product on the market to reflect a company that cares about its footprint.

As a designer, I believe that it is important to understand sustainability frameworks and how they apply to our industry. This card deck is a way to not only showcase those but also illustrate some of my packaging and print knowledge.

The California State University Chico, where I obtained my BFA, happens to be located on what were once the inhabited lands of the Mechoopda tribe. For this exhibition proposal, I worked collaboratively with a team of four to demonstrate the importance of indigenous knowledge about sustainable practices.
